Finally Found Love

I thought I would never find love. I was in my mid 30's at the time and was trying alot of different ways to try and find Mr. Right. I've joined bowling groups, social groups, dating services and was even set up on a few blind dates. I was ready to give up. One night I was on-line and was playing a game when I met my now husband Kevin. We have chatted for about a week when we thought it was time to meet, but there was one bad thing about it at the time. He lived in North Carolina and I lived in New Jersey. Even though we lived over 600 miles from each other, we decided to stay friends. We've chatted on-line for about 7 years before we met in person in October, 2003. I flew down there with a few friends so I wouldn't be alone when we met, then he flew up and we met each other's families, figuring that it would remain a friendship, but over time, it grew more than just that. On Father's Day weekend when Kevin came up for a second visit, he asked me to marry him and I said yes. He moved up here that July after securing himself a job and a year and a half later, in October, 2005 we were married. I never thought I would find love, but I did and it was in the last place I would never expect it and to this day I never regretted it.
