in nonsense my story has lost all direction due to promts that don't fit original ideas
The following day, Stan and Eileen decided to take Willy for a walk into town. They had discussed Stans idea to go see a hypnotist while cleaning up the cake/cat incident and Eileen had said "Why honey, that's a smashing idea we shall head out first thing on the morrow.(BELCH.)" And so bright and early on the morrow they headed out. Now Stan, he had still some fears of finding out so he wasn't as whole hearted as he had been early yesterday. With Eileen, his number one gal beside him he knew that it must be done.

The blow to his head had had some effect on his memory, it was sore but it felt like it had knocked down some of the wall to his magical seeming amnesia. He now had very vague, dark memories of murky, deep water with a slow current and a tiny piercing sound that he could not place. He was not aware of these as memories exactly, they seemed more like bits and pieces of a day dream. Also in these strange images the overwhelming sense of panic like time was growing short and action needed to be taken. These were very confusing emotions that had no bearing on his life, he had no deadlines or suffering to compare these needs he felt.

Stan wanted to rid himself of these gloomy thoughts and on the way to the hypnotist saw a group of children playing in the park. Stan motioned to Eileen to let Willy off his leash while Willy was occupied by the sight and sounds of the children. Stan knew Willy would be distracted and picked up a stick while the dog stared at the children waiting permission to join the fun. Stan then called to Willy in a sharp but friendly manner to grab his attention, the dog snapped his head toward him as he threw the stick in the opposite direction of the children. Stan waited just a second before starting to run toward the children, calling back to Willy who was now chasing the stick, the dog had been fooled again by the same old trick and knew now that the RACE was on and that he was behind.

The children seeing Stan run towards them, cheered him on as they always did knowing full well that the dog, no matter how far behind, always won this little game that Stan and Willy had become known for. But today, like yesterday as with the other occasions Stan disappeared, he felt invincible, completely renewed, mind, body, and spirit. Today Stan was really giving it his all and not losing ground to Willy as he normally would, today he was winning. Stan came upon the children who were by now chanting his name as he ran circles around them, and Willy over standing with Eileen was not used to losing and apparently was not a good sport about it. Willy was barking and growling non threatening as if he was pleading his case to the race official that Stan had cheated. Finding no sympathy, he ran to the children who scattered before him laughing and screaming, arms in the air.

Upon returning to Eileen, Stan saw a very perplexed wife watching him and inquired "Why the queer look, oh fantastic one?" Eileen replied, "What was that? I've never seen you move so fast." Stan had nothing to offer and so shrugged his shoulders and said, "I don't know but I feel great, like I've found a well of strength inside myself that has been given out on loan." Eileen seemed to accept this answer and asked if the fun was over that they could proceed to their goal. And so they went.

Upon arriving at the hypnotist they were told to come back tomorrow because they were stupid and didn't make an appointment. So they did. With a different hypnotist.
