The Eye of the Wave

THE EYE OF THE WAVE

He is the center of my peace,
the calm within my storms.
Bearing me through darkest seas,
while I learn to obey and conform.

My strong hold on the mightiest crest,
teaching me to be still and behave,
This vessel's captain who knows me best,
In life's storms, he's the eye of the wave.
