Winter Warmth

With the winterly winds blowing against the window,
I hang on to a spark of belief.

The lack of which keeps my insides cold.

The possible joys and moments of laughter
The hope that dreams do come true.

Like a hearth, surrounded by loved ones.

Wanting the spark to grow into a flame,
to warm my insides again.
