(INSPIRATIONS Entry) An abused mother and her child who can't take it anymore...
No More

Hands shaking, drop the gun.
Not feeling any grief.
Finally, it's over and done.
No regrets, only relief...

Eyes filling with tears,
watching the morbid scene unfold.
Battered body emanating fears;
soul, by Satan's bidding sold.

No more of this brutality.
This savagery must end.
Tangled in a bittersweet reality,
too hard to comprehend.

Give reasons for acts
committed cruelly without any shame.
Show me untainted facts,
lies and truths-- no game.

Staring, face with no expression;
flexing muscles, ready attacks.
Is this the answer, aggression?
How easily Satan cracks!

Another beating, bleeding, mourning...
Stop, before everything goes black.
Heed this final warning,
there's no more turning back.

Done digging in the mud,
wet in the rain,
pale face dripping with blood;
but feeling no pain...

Instead of syllable patterns, I used word patterns. *Blush*
1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th stanzas *Right* 5-4-5-4 words
2nd, 4th, 6th stanzas *Right* 4-5-4-5 words

Rhyme Scheme: a-b-a-b

I changed the italicized parts!
After reading it again, I realized my mistake...
The first and last stanzas show the present actions.
The ones in the middle (plum-colored) are the flashbacks,
which led to the murder.
