Uneasy (part 2)

So you've heard my heart

You say we are intune

But you know I'm uneasy

For all the things I put myself through

I am hoping contradiction has not got the best of you

Love gets thrown around like money

So time will tell

Little white lies we use not to offend

I know there is no end

Just wish you kept my mind at ease

I know we are together

Yet I feel the need to look over your shoulder

To feel you've turned into a protector

When you say it's just a friend

I know i'm too much

And I know there is no reason for answer

Maybe i'm just too old fasioned

And when someone is a part of me

Through and through

Thats all I see

Just shouting out for honesty

But contradiction now rears its ugly head

I'm too... On everything that I've said

So lets get this straight

My blood boils seeing you with some one else

And that's even when we are together

I question the heavens that its all against what is

Yet give me a moment and i'll do the same

Hand on my heart I do not cheat

Although can sometimes be thin ice where i tred.

Contradiction reared its ugly head.

So have we got true love?

Or are we standing in the darkness

I know for certain you are my light

But am i yours?

I have this terrible feeling

You are settling for second best.
