final journey

The angel takes you by the hand
He shows you lands of people damned
the strife within this mortal coil
the noose around this fetted soil
no more do you wish to see
but this is not now to be
he takes you deeper, 'neath the earth
to show the place of "never birth"
a place where those never born
may sit and wait the final morn
"daemon" you cry to no avail
for now he takes you on to hell
tormented souls cry out in pain
the ones you left behind for gain
the sinners who you never were
the voices that you never heard
one more stop the angel cries
you pray to God that he lies
that you might be left alone
and not see worse like Satan's throne
then to heaven he takes you now
to show the choice no longer yours anyhow
you could have found eternal peace
yet for the nothingness of life did you release
your final call unto salvation
now you go to your damnation
the books are opened before you now
the pit behind you seems to howl
your new lord laughs and spits in your face
for even though One died to take your place
you just ignored like you were bored
the words for you that were implored
the pits of hades burn ever hotter
the hands of shades wait for the slaughter
you begin to burn and then to scream
and wake to find it just a dream
