Fun poem I wrote during English class
Alone sat the bird,
Who had just heard,
Of the horse with no herd.

He found it at the water's source,
This lone horse,
Who tried to speak with a voice so hoarse.

"I just heard,"
Said the bird,
"That you have no herd."

"My voice is so hoarse,"
Said the horse,
"Itis better to stay at the water's source."

"You are a fool,
To stay at this pool."
Said the bird, keeping his cool.

"I don't care,
If I seem mad as a hare,
To you up there."

The bird flew away.
He would not stay,
And waste his day away.

So everyone heard,
About the talk the bird,
Had with the horse with no herd.
