My World of Black

The day is dark
as dark as my soul
and my true feelings
which i never let show.

Inside i cry out
for the ones i let go
but when i cry for them to come
i am met with a no.

i have waited too long
so in my world of black,
i cry out for the ones
i will never get back.

i sit in the rain
lost in my thoughts
surrounded in shadows
and battles i fought

i lost all the things
that i once held dear
which is far worse
than any fear

so that is my story
and if you must know,
my world is one
where one should never go...
