it's a happy song
Woke up this morning
Thinking my alarm didn’t go off
Had to be at work at 7:30 and man
Wasn’t even seven o’clock
Pulled some jeans out of the dryer because I’d kind of
Forgotten to the night before
When I shook ‘em out, $20 dollar bill fell on the floor

The 5 in the pocket made my day
Wish all my mornings could start this way

And I’m smiling ‘cause I’m living
And I’m living like I’ve never frowned before
And I’m thinking things are great
Man they’re so great, I’m thinking I want more
And I don’t know why some people cry,
When there’s so many reasons to smile
If you’re feeling down all you gotta do
Is look up for a while

Left work a little early
‘cause all my work was done
I’d been way to productive
Think it’s time to have some fun
So I rolled down to the rive and I rolled
My pants up to my knees
Waded up to my stomach
Threw my voice up to the trees

Watched my troubles drift downstream
Things are better than they seem

And I’m smiling ‘cause I’m living
And I’m living like I’ve never frowned before
And I’m thinking things are great
Man they’re so great, I’m thinking I want more
And I don’t know why some people
Let little things get ‘em down
Sometimes what goes up
Never hits the ground

And I’m smiling ‘cause I’m living
And I’m living like I’ve never frowned before
And I’m thinking things are great
Man they’re so great, I’m thinking I want more
I don’t know why some people let the little things
Get in their way
If you can’t do it right now, hell you know
Tomorrow’s another day
