A poem on love
It was our last night until we would be, separated from each other indefinitely.
Or so it seemed our lives were written, every now and then we must make revisions.

So what does this mean for us?
Can we can we carry on with this?
Please look into my eyes, so I can see into your soul.
One question comes to mind, "Why are you hiding?"
Just fall back into my arms and we'll feel everything.

Now on this day what's been buried will arise, deep from inside of me.
The truth is that I still care for you involuntarily, just like my breathing.

So what does this mean for us?
Can we can we carry on with this?
Please look into my eyes, so I can see into your soul.
One question comes to mind, "Why are you restraining?"
Just fall back into my arms and we'll feel everything.

I've chalked up all those drugs to my need to stay dreaming
that both of us would be here, naturally
when the dust had cleared, but now it's just me.
Please look into my eyes, so I can see into your soul.
A blank stare meets with mine, you're not there anymore.
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Love will take you into the darkest of places and leave you there, alone.
To find your way back to the surface and see your own way back home.
Back to your home...
Back to your home...Where it's waiting to show you, what you thought had left you. It's been here inside you just dying to burst out...My God how you've grown.
My God how you've grown..
My God..
My God..
My God! How you're grown...And how we've grown apart.
