How do U love someone Who doesnt exist?

Some things cant be explained. Actually, alot of things cant be explained. But sometimes it is the things that we cant explain that interest us the most. I sat there in that meadow one hot summers eve. Cross legged with my eyes closed. The wind blowing my hair into many dizzy tangles. I sit there twisting a daisy between my fingers. It was warm and cool at both the same time. The field was full of tall grass and flowers. So bright. So calming. And exactly two miles from my home so I was alone. It was where I first met him. Him being,......Shadow man.
I waited for him everyday in that very field now. Rain or shine. But when I first met him it was like flame too a paper. Sparks flew. I sat there alone on that very first day. The clouds began too hover and I knew right away that a light summer storm was beginning too erupt.
But instead, He came along and cast above my world. I opened my eyes finally and there he was standing across the field. I noticed he wasnt human so as startled as I was, I struggled too stand on my feet. Hello? I called a bit confused and scared both at once. He just stared. He was strange looking. He was nothing but a dark grayish shadow with even darker scratches all over him.
He had no face. He had no clothes. But at the same time his shadowness was his clothing. He cocked his head too the side and grinned. I took a step backwards. I was ready too run at any minute. But before I could do anything he bolted too me. He brushed his fingers across my face ever so gently. It frightened me a bit, but the pleasure that came with it over powered that.
I asked him his name but he spoke of nothing. So I decided too refer too him as Shadow. My name is Kennie, I said. He still said nothing. Instead he roared a thungerous roar and flashed some sharp scary jaws at me in which made me scream. Then I blacked out and hit the earths soil.
I awoke at night. The moon owned the sky with its glowing light and stars that shown around it. I sat up and looked around. He was on the other side of the field again. Why didnt he leave after scaring me? I wondered. But as if he read my mind he answered. I couldnt let you get hurt, He said from his end of the meadow. I stood up still scared and turned too run. I pushed my legs as hard as I could.
Racing through the forest as if there was a bomb somewhere near and I just couldnt find it. He ran beside me a few paces away. I didnt understand the fact of his horror and stalking. I just ran until I bumped into my older brother Kyle. Where have you been? He snapped. You didnt see him? I said out of breath. Who? my brother looked around. I swear Kennie your going crazy he snapped. He took me the rest of the way home and I didnt see Shadow again. Atleast for a couple months.
