Jesus Christ the Sacrifice

The Lord Jesus Christ
Has become the sacrifice
And you know why His heart did break

Man fell in sin
He just let the devil in
With an apple and a sly old snake

Satan thought he won
When he sacrificed God’s Son
Cause he couldn’t even see the truth

The Father up above
Has conquered death through love
And the demons didn’t know what to do

They started shaking hell
But no one could tell
What had happened to the Son of God

The devil became scared
Cause of his worse nightmare
Jesus won the battle just for you


Before our birth
You established our worth
And you laid out the final plan

You planted a seed
In the heart of a need
And your spirit performed the growth

You saw its totality
Placed the personality
You even knew our name
You counted each hair
And made some pair’s
But no-not one the same

You gave each a vision
And made the provision
At times we fell off the track
The devil he came in
Tempting us with sin
But your love always brought us back
