Five years have passed
And you’re still on my mind
Why can’t I forget you?

From a distance I stole a look
You look so happy wrapped in those arms,
Comfortable and safe protected from harm
Laughing happily like you're charm
And how I wish those were my arms

I never wanted you to go
All I did was to love you so

Your eyes met mine for a glance
But you didn’t even smile
No simple hello not even a hi
I wish I could fight my pride
But you gave no signs
Sad and disappointed
I turned away
To see the one I love
