This was a true event that happened in the past to a close friend of mine.
By now you've probably found this note,
By now I'm covered in a dirt coat,
You were to busy working to care,
You didn't know
What went on up there.

Well let me tell you.
Tell you everything that happened.

Let me tell you how he watched me close,
Let me tell you about the hose,
Let me tell you about all the bones
That were broken under his hands.

I bet you thought this was it,
But there's so much more to it,
If you listened
Just even for a second
You would have paid more attention,
You'd have saw me stiffen.

Stiffen when his hands held me to close,
Touched me the most.

Let me tell you about the belt,
About all the welts,
They covered my thighs,
While you bought all his lies.

Let me tell you about the drinks,
The ones that made him not think.

Let me tell you about the touching,
His hands covering everything.

You didn;t see any of this,
Did you mom?
Are you that naive?
Or did you just not want to believe,
That your little girl could be hurt so bad,
By the only one who was supposed to love her,
Help her,
Take care of her.

It was too for you to do anything,
By the time you found out,
My heart was ripped out.

You couldn't stop him from holding me down,
You couldn't stop him
From firing a round,

It's my fault
I never should have screamed,

I couldn't help it,
The pain was so bad,
As he shoved in and out.

Now that you found the note
I hope you don't cry.
Not your fault, that all you did was deny.
