A story of a great love, that was broken and eventually died.
I love you...
Some days I wish I could scream it
  from roof tops...
Others I don't.
Some days I wish you would whisper
it in my ear as we part...
But you never do.
I love you...
  Loved...
I loved you...
  once.
Years ago when nothing made sense
And life sped by.
It was when we were close.
And you held my hand.
I loved you once...when you loved me.
  We loved...
And what a love it was!
You and I could have moved mountains
if we did not like them...
You and I loved...
You loved me...
And I loved you, I suppose...
  but now...
Things are different and strained.
The ring you placed on my hand
  has almost lost all meaning.
Now it sits there reminding me...
It tells the story of how we loved...
  How we loved...
  How we loved each other...
  then others...
Then everyone but the one who owns a
  ring matching ours.
I loved you...
  once...
You loved me..
And on a whim, I suppose, is why
you and I no longer love...

I suppose I still do...
  Love you that is...
    I suppose I love you...
      Yes...I do.
