I stood in the doorway of the aircraft, I could feel the wind hitting my body and the cold air slapping me in the face as I prepared to through myself out of the plane for another training jump, we had done so many this last couple of months it was starting to get everyone wondering if it was for a reason. We must be approaching the drop zone as the red light on the traffic light next to the door came on, as the team leader it is my job to alert everyone to standby and get ready to jump, “RED ON!” I yelled, I began to panic, everyone does in this situation, men were not designed to fly. Maybe a minute and a half later we get the green light, GO! GO! GO! Everyone yells and we are out the aircraft door and plummeting towards the ground.
