"Black Tears"- outline

Carmen Cassidy is a 17-year old girl, whose mother is an alcoholic. Because of this, she cuts herself, and doesn't believe in God. Her mom's boyfriend sexually abused her when she was thriteen and has caused her emotional as well as physical scars.

Anthony Romero is a gang member. He meets Rob Matthews, a preacher who witnesses to him. He accepts Christ and leaves the gang, but not before being beaten and teased for this change. Months later, Anthony is adopted by Rob.

When the two meet, Anthony tries to witness to her, but Carmen wants nothing to do with God...

That's it so far. Obviously, Carmen will accept Christ as her Savior, but I need more of a plot... any suggestions?
