I keep waiting for the rain to fall
the cloud's unbroken
I keep waiting

I keep waiting to make the crease
fold in someone's memory
always waiting

Time is like a metronome
it keeps us in our place
and we are only ripples on the surface

I'm waiting for the blossoms
to greet the day with grace
I'm waiting for their face

And we change every season
define ourselves by time
the honesty a solace long awaited. ~
