Essence

You’re my flower in the desert, a star in a sky of shine, a diamond in the rough, with an essence so sublime.

With a voice that I could listen to until the end of time, your words build stairs for all of life’s large obstacles to climb.

When your beauties grace my eyes I hold back tears stored deep inside, for I know full well what a gift it'd be to say that you were mine.

I know not how to speak such words so on paper they will go, and from a distance, I will watch in awe, as you sparkle, shine, and bloom.
