A poem about having a not so great sister.
I knew this would happen sometime,
Her exterior so perfect;
Her white smile so kind,
And every word she said, just had to be correct;
But inside her an evil thrived.
A girl, never able to accept neglect.
I know how she survived.

I have seen her tremble and cry,
others gather, watching, waiting, ready to sympathize,
Encouraging eyes, wide smiles,
but gone her spirit would die.
She forced more tears but her eyes held lies:
Secretly enjoying any drama that arrived.
This made it easier to ignore her self dispise.
I know how she survived.

I have been there too, in your place,
Feeling so bad and upset too,
Sometimes letting fake tears run down my face.
And i defiantly have no sympathy for you.
Then you left and my mind was revived,
with people like her there is nothing we can do.
But, I know how she survived.
