My reason to go on

You are my heart, my soul.
You are the reason I can get up each day.
Without you I wouldn’t be able to breathe.
You reached into my soul and brought it back to life when I didn’t have the strength or courage to do it myself.
When I couldn’t dream of another tomorrow you showed me how.
You carried me till I had the strength to walk on my own.
When I couldn’t breathe you gave me the breath of life filling my heart and soul.
You were the one to break thru the dark clouds that surrounded me.
Reaching your hand down into my despair and pulling me up from the murky water that was choking the life out of me.
You gave me courage to never give up and to fight a battle I thought I would never win.
You are the reason I keep moving when I feel the black water lapping at my heals.
Your shinning light guides me to the shores of peace.
With you I know the darkness will never win.
You make me strong.
You make be brave.
You give me peace.
