The Girl Who Loved A Boy- A Short Story

December 16th 2018. In the small town of Harmony, Texas a relationship was stirring. ''But why can't you just love me the way that i love you? I can't fight this feeling anymore. I just don't know what to do. Everynight I dream about you and I, and the future we can have together,'' said the girl. The man carefully thought about what he should say to her next. ''I don't see how you can love me, you barely know me. I don't feel the same about you. So maybe you need to realize what your actually considering here. I just met you a few weeks ago. How can you possibly be in love with me? I just don't understand,'' said the mystery man. With that reply the girl's emotions started to stir inside of her. ''I'm sixteen, i can fend for myself. I can make up my own mind and decide who I want to have a relationship with,'' said the girl. The man started to get a bit of an attitude towards the girl. ''I'm done having this conversation! We will never be together! I can't have this conversation with you anymore,'' said the man. She couldn't believe he had said this. She was so hurt she didn't know what to do anymore. ''Fine! But I can't believe you won't even consider my feelings. What kind of person could do that to someone else? Especially someone who loves you! Are you afriad that someone might actually love you for the real you. Can't you just realize that I want to be with you forever? I never wanna be with anyone else,'' said the girl. They went their seperate ways.
June 14th 2029. Years after the arguement the two of them ran into each other. ''So, do you still love me? Cause' i haven't been able to stop thinking about you since the day we talked,'' said the man. The girl thought carefully about the response. Soon, she came to realize she actually didn't love him. ''Actually I don't love you anymore. You had the chance and you lost me and now I don't have any feelings for you anymore. I wanna try to be your friend. Let's talk sometime. Here's my number. Let's try to keep in touch this time,'' said the girl. They both left. As she was walking away he wished he would have took the chance when he could have.
Months later, the man realized something he never knew. ''She loved me all that time. I had my chance. I thought I didn't want her when i really did all along,'' the man thought. it was that night he realized he could never have her. From that day forward, he wished he would have taken the chance when he could have.
