A Second Chance

Fear inhabits my mind, As my body begins to swell

And my breathing becomes labored, With every breath making a

gurgling. it is apparent my life is slipping away.



So now I get down on my knees and ask my maker to forgive me,

for I have sinned,I pray oh lord that you have mercy upon me when,

I stand before you



But now a miracle takes place as my body returns to it's normal

state, and my breathing clears, I know now I have been forgiven

My life is now in control of a machine

and my soul belongs to my maker.



So now I get down on my knees again ,

and say thank you oh lord , thank you

for that second chance, And on that

day when you come I will be ready OH,

LORD AMEN
