Like blades of grass

I plow rich soil and drop in seed,
No guarantees on which will breed,
With watchful eyes and whispered creed,
Like blades of grass, a blooming spree.


Saturating liquid beads,
nourishment continuously
Up spring meadowy terrain,
like blades of grass, canvas the frame.

Moments of bask, some filled with haze,
In either case give cause for praise.
As ages past each new day bring,
Honor and praise from my offspring.

In abstinence or revelry,
Like blades of grass winter or spring.
As nourishment from mother earth,
Enrich the soil and shake the dirt.
