Carmens Side of the Story

" Okay Carmen you may tell me your side of the story now." Said my principal.

" Okay so this is how it really went......." I said.

" Go on Carmen. Tell me. You don't have to make it dramatic, okay." said my principal.

" Fine, whatever. Okay so, I was walking down the hallway about to go to science class when all of a sudden a green flash goes by and next thing you know my favorite bracelet is gone. My bracelet just disappeared into thin air. The green thing was about as big as me and had a pair of black beady eyes." I said.

" So I start running to my locker as quick as I can to get my jet pack so I could start to chase the thing." I said.

"So that is how I got caught running in the hallway." I explained

" But how do you explain knocking Maryanne over?" Asked the principal.

"Well you haven't let me finish my story." I answered.

" So I am getting my jet-pack out of my locker, right. And then I strap it on and take of. Well the green thing is about run in to Maryanne but I don't notice because I am behind the thing and I can't see her. All of a sudden the green thing whizzes around her and I just happen to knock her over." I said

" But how did you miss all of science class." Asked the principal.

" It took me all the way to Canada. So I finally got my bracelet and came back to a crowd of cheers. So I shouldn't be getting in trouble at all."

" One day detention. Starting this afternoon"said the principal.

All of a sudden a green thing raced by and took the principals watch.

" I guess you don't have to have a day detention. And can you get that for me?" asked the principal.

" Sure. why not." I said.

"I will be getting out of math." I thought.
