The Muse

When your mind searches deep inside,

When the soul seeks that

Which forever does hide,

A deep dark valley

That stretches wide,

Mysteries that lay

And refuse to confide





You can feel it, The tide

Of emotions that reside,

In your heart

And then subside,

But then comes light

The shadows divide

The clouds give way

To the rays of eternal guide



Hear oh hear call of the divine

Emerge out of your little own confine

Cross the line, It’s your time to shine,

Let them flow, the words benign



And so you rise

Heeding wise advice......



And the hearth of your heart

Ignited by a spark

Bursts into flames of inspiration,

You understand the power of creation,
