The day you were born is special to me,
I just knew that you would be my sweetpea.
When I held you in my arms, you smiled at me that day,
It's locked in my memory, and will never fade away.

No one in this world can compare to you,
Because I know that your love is so true.
The bond we share like none I've known,
We are best friends and I'm never alone.

You have many great qualities for a son,
These qualities can never be undone.
God gave you these qualities from the start,
They are now buried deep down in your heart.

You were always there to wipe away my tears,
You have always been there through all my fears.
Without you I don't know what I would do,
I surely would be lost, sad and blue.

When I asked the Lord to send me a son,
God could not have chosen a better one.
I'm so proud and honored to be your mother,
With sons like you I would have not wanted another.
