This poem strongly focuses on humanity . . .:) |
Wake up, perk up and open your eyes, Discover the key to bliss, beneath it lies; Feel the joy of doing; bask in the warmth of giving, For it renders you a life worth living. See the unnoticed anguish of that homeless beggar, His frail eyes shedding silent tears, Wipe out those tiny drops, let solace befall, Breathe life into his insentient soul. Caress that sniffling kitten gently, Fathom its obscure shrugs, Beget the lost sparkle in it, Chime in its alienated love. Revere the feelings of your elders, Who endeavour for your every speck of glee; Weave up their wishes and whims, Into a towering echelon of feat and set free! Care for those little saplings, And those elfin blossoms sprouting out of them, Water the blanched foliage, And revamp the lush green in them. Believe in no chauvinism, no incongruity, Be it in religion, caste or ethnicity, For everyone is alike in the eyes of the Almighty… Of all insanity, inhumanity is the wicked sin; Creeping through the innocent minds, It blinds, it taints, it razes within. Be humane, be the saviour Of all and sundry in their hard times, For it takes no time to go astray But a lot to resurface and shine… |
