I CRY FOR YOU

I watch you my son as you play in the yard
I watch you my baby as you long for someone to be your dad
Iwatch as man after man walks in and pretends to care you with out a doubt..

Tears fill my eyes knowing what you want the most and mams just cant get it right I fight my tears in front of you but baby boy at night i cry for you..

I do my best to be both some things mamas just dont know
I pray everynight someone will walk into your life to show the things mamas just dont do right slowly mamas losing faith and its startin to show

Tears fill my eyes but never let it show i dont cry for myself baby i cry for you i know theres a day you will grow
a day when you will no longer be mine

I did my best I know you hurt I pray that i taught you right that no matter what you dnt lose sight when the day comes and you become a father i hope you look back and let your child feel the pain that you once had
