Angels

When I asked god for an angel he sent one in disguise….
He dressed you like no other but sent beauty in your eyes,
You looked at me with openness your soul was shining through,
I didn’t want to say it but in my heart I knew.

When life became so scary you held my heart with grace,
I didn’t question who you where, but I seen it in your face,
You opened up a miracle but didn’t let it show,
You trusted god would guide me and then you let me go…..

You gave me back my freedom; you gave my soul new light,
No longer was I scared to walk alone into the night,
You whisper in the breeze, you shine within my dreams,
And once again remind me…. life’s not as it seems…

Life is one illusion… a mirror of our mind,
Reflecting truth and honesty…that only you can find,
But when we ask for help….gods angels form a cue,
So ask your self a question…..is my angel you?
