the immoral couple

There was a break in the despondency; he was essential. His life was once a complete tragedy and presently still weaving in and out of the sickness. But he had plan, and was diligently searching for the salt of the earth. He revealed his map but she dismissed it, she saw nothing but the dead ends and destroyed bridges. He begged her to look harder; he grabbed her hand and whispered he loved her. She magnified the scene and concluded that he may know the way, but chained to the ground his strength couldn’t lift her. She clawed at her skin to release the bondage, she screamed at the sky to raise her from the soil. Her eyes swollen and filthy became clear, her guardian appeared. It couldn’t be… her dreams seem to be descending into reality; he was too strong, too miraculous. In an instance she gasped and then trembled, did she hallucinate, where did she go? She felt warmth wrap around her body, and wetness pushed against her mouth...this feeling was eerie, hesitant to open her eyes. He whispered he loved her and that’s when she knew he was there to rescue her, to free her. A rush of safety streamed through her mind, her thoughts became peaceful. He told her he had a plan, she was just what he needed.
