Color my worldgray, for depression
has me in its grasp and will not
loosen its grip. I struggle
to seebrilliant colors
beyond the gray mist. The colorful
images
remain
as
a
hazy
memory,
ever taunting
me to burst through the ominous darknessthat
hovers all around my world,
clouding my judgment, blinding me
to the rainbow just beyond the mist.

A Nonet is a poem with nine lines. Line one has nine syllables, line two has eight syllables, and on like that until the ninth line, which is only one syllable.
A Double Nonet reverses the order in the second verse.
Rhyming is not necessary. The main emphasis should be on imagery and the flow of the thoughts throughout the poem.
