What I cannot grasp, parts of the past
It' so far away,

every glance an illusion of my own derange,

I just want anything to come this way,

I feel lost, water out of range.

I just need something to quench a thirst,

something that I can feel,

but it never comes first,

and I don't look up, cause I know it's not real.

I turn my eyes shut, it's my only shield.

The open world,

out of my derange,

one second longer and so much change,

one moment later, and I'm still so far,

but far is never enough, just hard.

Wave of choices, ripping apart at the seams

Rippling waters, showing what I need

Tides of faces passing like strangers of lies

Rising higher, illusions infront of my eyes

Mountains out of range in the skies.

It's so far away,

Up on the peak of the world

I just want a view of what I cannot say

Where flags stand in winds furled

I just can't breath as low as I am

Gasp for breath but I dont inhale

Open my mind but I cannot understand

My lips feel dry in cold air here, each scent so stale

The open world,

out of my derange,

one second longer and so much change,

one moment later, and I'm still so far,

but far is never enough, just hard.

Wave of choices, ripping apart at the seams

Rippling waters, showing what I need

Tides of faces passing like strangers of lies

Rising higher, illusions infront of my eyes

Mountains out of range in the skies.

The open world,

out of my derange

Wave of choices, ripping apart at the seams

Rippling waters, showing what I need

Every second is change

Tides of faces passing like strangers of lies

Rising higher, illusions infront of my eyes

Out of range

Mountains out of range in the skies.

Trek through sand and snow, to realize
