Death wants my soul, Not without a fight
Alone on this gloomy day,
It’s taking a hold
of the last of my sanity.
Deaths cold grip grabs my wrist,
I shake him away.

Not even death himself can move me.
I am a rock today.
The strength of Samson is useless,
I hold his hair in my hand.

He dares the soldiers of hell,
To take me as a challenge.
Who will be the one,
to finally drag me down?

Smiling now, I welcome them all.
Swift honorable warriors,
Thirsty for my blood.
But, a soul full of vengeance
and misery awaits the battle.

Standing tall, there is no backing down.
Raising my sword towards the sky,
I pray to no one.
I know I am alone,
And have always been alone.

Death is smirking on the sidelines.
A smirk I will cut off his face.
He sees the army approaching,
He then sees my eyes.

Eyes full of a strength,
Something he has never known.
A strength no one has ever beheld.
Fear slaps upon his face.

My smile evolves into the Smirk.
I see doubt in his expression,
Anger rises, he is now still as stone.
He knows I have a chance.

One by one I take them down,
Sending them back to Hell.
Fires arise as each one falls,
Consuming them all as I prevail.

A battle with the reaper,
No soul has ever survived,
Defying Death once again,
He gives up this time.

On this starless night,
I stand anew in my victory.
Blessed with eternal life,
Cursed with an eternity
of absolute loneliness.
