I Believe

He gave his life, he gives his word
so that we might follow in his footsteps as children of the earth

He died for us and rose again
the ultimate sacrifice to free us all from sin

And all he asks is that we choose to believe…

He gave me life, he gives me peace
he offers unconditional forgiveness in my time of need

He builds me up he gives me strength
he leads me to believe I can do anything

And all he asks of me is to believe

So I believe in him
and my life I freely give

To the lord my savior my friend
No matter where or when I know he’ll be with me to the end

For I believe…

He gives me hope when life’s unkind,
he’s always there for me no matter the time

He guides my way and helps me see
that I am so much stronger than I ever knew I could be

And all he asks of me is to believe.

So I believe in him and my life I freely give
to the lord my savior and friend

And I choose to believe!
