when the tears fall so hard they can't understand a word you say

A true friend will keep you busy
with dreams of a better tomorrow
While you struggle threw the day

A true friend will provide you with peace
and rest when none is  to be found
They will give you a place to stay

A true friend shows you how to have fun
by taking you salsa dancing
Or on random road trips far away

A true friend is the person you call
when the fire alarms go off at work
They make plans to come rescue you
knowing you would repay them the same way

True friends are better than
lovers by far
Or at least mine are
