Forever Is...

Forever is …

The now…

Forever is how long the hours stretch, when you can’t sleep, until  morning

Forever is the time it takes while in the throes of labor.

Forever is my longing until I see my children all together laughing again.

Forever is the insecurity or grief I feel until my husband wraps his arms around me to ward off the evils of the day.


But when Jesus takes me home…

Forever is basking in the light of his presence—his Glory never ending.

Forever is never more a tear to shed

Forever is joy without ceasing—to see His face—to hear His voice clear and strong

Forever is life without end with my Creator
