Thank You, Lord

If I had but one request,
It would be to say,
"You have made my life the best
In each and every way."
Since the day you found me Lord,
My life has been made whole.
I feel we are in one accord;
You saved my very soul.
You are the light that carries me
Through each dark night ahead,
You opened up my eyes to see
And your own blood you shed.
You hung upon a cross for me,
You died for all my sins.
One day your sweet face I will see
