My testimony
Based on psalm 30

My Lord i exalt you i raise my arms in the air
I'd like to thank you for lifting me out of my despair

You came when i called out and rescued me
You offered me protection from the gloating of my enemy

Lord as you rescued me from the realm of the dead
I was healed and spared from the pit to praise your name instead

Your anger lasts only a short moment in time
But your favour my Lord will last my whole life time

I may sit up weeping throughout the night
But i will be rejoicing at the break of morning light.

My Lord i feel secure in my faith i vow i will not be shaken
If anyone were to doubt that then they wud be mistaken

You favoured me and my mountain stays firm in its place
I am only dismayed my Lord when you hide from me your face

What good to you would i have been had i gone to that pit
Had i turned back into dust i couldn't praise your name and exalt it

You came when i cried Lord to gave me another chance
You stopped me from whinging and enabled me to dance

Youve taken from me my frailties and filled me with your glory
I'll worship and exalt you always and forever as i tell this my story
