Eagle's Nest

There’s always someone watching me,
when awake and when asleep,
so now I lay me down
and pray the Lord my soul to keep.

Helpless bird in the Eagle’s Nest,
there a faithful babe remains,
a silent world alone
there’s no fights, not a child complains

But here in my own little world,
not a sight for me to see,
I still fear the Eagle
though someone watches over me.
