Chapter 1 ; Intro Meet The Author

Hello, thank you for your interest in my book. I was born with cerebral palsy in 1963 and I am 1 member of a family of 6. I have two sisters, one is my twin. She went to heaven, 3 days after we where born. I can’t wait to meet her someday in the future an find out all about her. The older I get the more that I find myself thinking about the sister that is a part of myself. However that said, I am sure my younger sweet sister Tricia, the one that I know an love so much will forever be my favorite. No matter what because of all her love and unending support. She lives only about 10 minutes away from me.

My older brother now lives, somewhere in the state of Tennesee. The last time that I was able to be with him was the weekend that my life changed forever. He wanted to watch his little brother get married, I am shure that it took him by supprise. I miss my big brother an I wish that he would move back to California.

I live in the state of California, in the some city where I was raised and my dad still lives in the same house where his children grew up.


I graduated from high school in 1983. Due to reasons of health a year and a half later then I should have. However I love the way that it all worked out. I was so greatly blessed to be able to share all my school days with my younger sister and our graduation too. Having her with me then made my graduation extra special an one of the most enjoyable events in my whole life.


I am a real big star trek fan a major trekkie. My desire to try an write, was first fueled by my love for star trek. 1 of the very frist si-fi tv shows that I remember as a very young child of about 4 or 5 years of age. Also I was fascinated by yet another si-fi space classic t v show, lost in space. Maybe someday I will try to fallow that dream also.
However I believe that for now I can encourage an help more people, if I write about that witch I know best life from the view point of a man , who has to spend his ‘’LIFE ON 4 FLAT TIRERS’

Another old favorite t v show of mine was HIGHWAY TO HEAVEN. Starring Micheal Landon. One of the best writers there ever will be. I only pray that I may have enough natural talent to write something half way decent an become a published author but god only knows if he has blessed me with that skill, I hope so. When I see a movie or a t v show that I like so often I find myself always wondering, if I could have done a better job of writing the script.


When it comes to my trying to write this book, I have only one reget. That I waited so many years of my life to start this little project of mine. I should have started an finished my book years ago but, hey ‘’better late then never,’’ as that old saying goes.


I got married at the age of 40 years old. On Saturday June 12 th 2004. I was beginning to wonder if or when it would actually happen but I never gave up my hope of seeing my dream come true. Sometimes it is hard to believe that I have been married to such a beautiful an wonderful wife, for the past 6 years now. I guess time dose fly by when your having this much fun, ha ha. I will say more about my wife and how I finally met her. in a future chapter. She is and always will be one of the greatest blessings that I have ever received from God.

The search for my special woman took many long years. I started looking for her in 1989, six years after high school. I started writing to women in the philippines, as pen pals during this time I learned to enjoy writing but that ended in 1997. So after that I stopped looking for just about 4 years. However I have never been the kind man that will give up easy. so I finally got up dusted myself off an got back on the horse. Now I am glad that I did. I like a good hard fight sometimes because my parents did not raise a wimp. Plus my faith in The Lord Jesus Christ keeps me strong. With him as my help, I can do whatever he has planned for my life.

I personally already know one published author, my pastor and friend. I have been blessed with the honor an privilege of his friendship, love and support for the last 24 years. It will come as a supprise to him, that I am trying to join him in the writers club of published authors.When he finds out I think he will be proud and happy for me. I really would love to give. God another chance to show some people how he can work though my life once again, if he so chooses to do that. Plus it would be so awesome for me if my family an friends could watch god help me accomplish becoming a published author.

My pastor may not fully realize just how much I love and admire what a true man of god that he is. But if not he will when this book is completed. What a big influence he has been on my life.

after I read the most recent book he wrote, his fathers life story, I was inspired once again to try an write about my own life. As a man who is handicapped, yet still loves to serve his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, any way that I can. Pastor, thank you so much for everything you have done to help make my life better. I love you.

In the chapters that fallow, the NON - HANDICAPPED reader will see what life in a wheelchair is actually like. The good, the bad and the inbetween. If your a NEWBY to life in a wheelchair, the advice I will share in my book will help you get through your new life. Who knows I just may have some good advice for the OLD PRO, like myself HA HA.
