I wish I were there with you on this special day,
To show you I love you in my own special way.
Life has decided to put us apart,
But I want you to take a closer look in your heart.

They say it’s blood pumping whenever it beats,
But I’m about to tell you why you are unique.
The thump that you hear, or maybe you feel,
Is something more special and may not seem real.

For I’m in your heart all throughout the day,
And I affect your body in so many ways.
My heart and my soul now belong to you,
And I am the reason you feel the things you do.

The chills that you get randomly throughout the day,
Is my soul saying I love you in its own special way.
Then the warmth that you feel when the chills are all gone,
Is my heart telling you that you're never alone.

So you see even though I’m real far away,
I’m actually with you each and every day.
So whenever you feel that we’re too far apart,
