Her son is ill, but the receptionist can't get him an appointment for 2 weeks.
Prompt: Your main character's child is very ill, but when they call to schedule an appointment, the receptionist says there's not an opening for 2 weeks. Write the dialogue of the phone conversation.

"Castine Health Services, this is Susanne speaking, how may I help you?

"Hi, this is Lola Billings. I think my son Leo has the flu, I need to make an appointment as soon as possible."

"Alright, what are his symptoms, and how old is he?"

"He's 7. Leo has had a fever of 101 today, and he can't keep any food down. He said it's been coming out both ends, he's pale, weak, and has the cold sweats."

"Yes, that does indeed sound like the nasty flu. Please hold on a moment, I'll see when our next available appointment is. Oh no. I'm terribly sorry Ms. Billings, but it seems we're booked until two weeks from tomorrow."

"Two weeks?! What the hell am I supposed to do? I can't wait that long, there must be something you could do. Please."

"I apologize Ms. Billings, but it's not possible. I could give you a call if someone cancels, but I believe your best bet would be to try and get in somewhere else. You could also take him to the emergency room. Again, I'm very sorry."

"You should be!!!" Lola screamed into the phone before slamming it down.
