Army Wives Body scrub

As most people know Times are tough and we all need to stretch our dollars. Here’s a recipe that is so easy it makes you wonder why you ever bothered to buy it! It’s also very adaptable. You can use just about anything to make it smell nice or have a color that pleasing to you.

1/4 Cup of Sugar (white)
1/4 Cup of Salt (table or sea)
1 tsp of liquid soap (clear or scented)
1 tsp veg oil (or olive oil)
1-3 drops of color (optional)
1/2 tsp of essential oil (dollar store cheapo kind works well)

Mix all ingredients well in a container and pat into a jar for use. It keeps well for months.

Some tips. You can play around with the liquid soap amount if it’s too thick for you. I would suggest try it first as it is.
You can use almost anything for scent or color you have in your kitchen. Lemon juice, orange rind, vanilla extract etc..

If you have none, don’t worry. It works fine with no scent or color. I personally don’t use the color.
