Haiku

1.

A sandpiper treads:
Gentle waves upon the beach
a whispered wind rocks.

2.

A gray squirrel scurries:
cars glide across wet blacktop
rain drizzles the streets.

3.

My reality:
life, the best it's ever been
focused on the now.

4.

Late evening walk:
I happen upon high reeds
and a serene lake.
