Prayer

The pain in my heart,
Grows with every passing night,
With no hope in sight,
I pray to the Divine-light.

I feel my soul trapped,
and my eyes blinded,
To end this unending night,
I pray to the Divine-light.

I am lost, lonely and broken,
Pain, that left me shaken,
Yet, for the strength to fight,
I pray to the Divine-light.

Dreams that were shattered,
and loss of all that mattered,
For hope of my soul,flying high as a kite,
I pray to the Divine-light.(2)
