Can't change the past but we can control what is written in out future
tales of grief across the board and in it's lines my pain is stored
too many swipes to clean this slate - I feel lost - resigned to fate
then a thought occurs to me - remove some here and leave some be
strategic work can lessen it - take what's left and make it fit
