Chapter 1: The Boys Of The Book Green “Faster Emerald!!! Faster Cujo and Jasper!! We have to beat Green today! Let's go!” Oh no! She isn't winning today! “Let's go Ice! We will be victorious again! Fly faster! Fly higher!” And oh boy, did she fly! I have never seen Ice move so quick and so gracefully ever before! “Wooooooo!” I yelled as we soared the skies! I landed in the clearing. Beating Silver, once again, at our daily dragon race. Her German Shepherd, Cujo, and her jet-black horse, Jasper, arrived in the clearing moments before she did. “Emerald!” She yelled as he came crashing to the ground. For once he landed correctly. She hopped off of him and walked over to me. “So, you won again! My handsome champ!” She giggled and lay down next to me. “Well, it takes practice to be a good-” “Shh!” She interrupted me as she put her finger gently on my lips to get me to stop talking. She leaned down and ran her fingers through my golden hair. My hair was starting to get little waves since I was summoned here. Maybe it was a side affect. But who cares anyway. She started to massage my stomach muscles through my green undershirt. The shirt had no sleeves so I could show off my nice guns. The way she liked me to show them off. She giggled as she traced the lines of my six-pack through my shirt. I closed my eyes as I smelled the air. She wore her Dragon's Blood fragrance today. My personal favorite. I opened my eyes. I saw an aura coming from the forest. I jolted up. “Silver, there is someone here. A group of people. Get behind me, now!” She wasted no time. I had to protect her. She was the Creator of Min. If she was taken, then the world would get sick and eventually die. And it was my duty to protect the world of Min. The group came through the opening in the trees. “Hello Green! Long time no see! How have you been?” he said. I recognized the voice immediately. “Yellow!” I said. “How has the 5 been?” “Why don't you ask them yourself?” As he said that the rest of the 5 came out of the trees. Orange, Purple, Brown, Black, and Yellow were the five. I was their leader. We always got in trouble in middle school. We did everything together. We played sports on the same team and did a lot with each other. There were more of us then but they went their own ways after high-school. It is better to have a few good friends then a ton of so-so friends. Silver had said to me one time. I guess it was true. I am starting to believe what she says more often. She had also said that when the Boys of the Prophecy met again good and bad will be accomplished. They always did call us The Boys Of The Book. Maybe she was right. |
