The bearer of no sleep
It is just another late night, I cannot sleep. Sleep medication has not kicked in, and probably never will. Its odd that I can get so tired but the minute I lay down my mind is wide awake. With eyes wide open I have to find something to do, and admittedly it probably was not the best idea to turn on my computer and type. Yet, I feel better for having typed up my thoughts. So here is a loose ruled poem I just thought of.

Wide Hazel Eyes,
Night after Night,
Suggest loose Ties,
That yet restrict Flight,

Into fitful Dreams,
In need of much Sleep,
My mind so full Teams,
At a Brink so Deep,

That Light is Denied,
Where Dark Things do Creep,
And yet might I Shine,
If only I Seep,

Into that Place,
Where Sleep is so Deep.
